I am an assistant professor of Political Science at Arkansas State University where I teach state and legislative politics.
I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Missouri where my research centered on legislative term limits.
I study legislative politics with a focus on state government. Specifically, my work evaluates the intersection of institutional rules and how they affect the members who serve. My research on political careers is currently centered on evaluating legislative turnover and its causes and consequences across the 50 states.
