I study legislative politics with a focus on state government. Specifically, my work evaluates the intersection of institutional rules and member careers. My first book, Navigating Term Limits, will be coming out soon with Palgrave Macmillan.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I currently serve as the University's Coordinator of our Washington Center partnership. In this role, I have the privilege of leading students on trips to Washington D.C., and I oversee student internships.
